Today’s
topic is really interesting and really important. Mostly we
are very particular about looking young and beautiful forever.
The
foods we consume can significantly impact our quality of life, fitness,
beauty, and risk of disease as we age.
It's
crucial to understand that eating particular foods won't help you seem
noticeably younger and that ageing properly involves more than just nutrition.
There is
no doubt that genetics play a great role in ageing and how fast you age. Now,
everybody knows that a good sleep routine, physical activity, workouts, healthy
and relaxed state of mind cause really good effects on your mood, your body especially your skin and obviously your physical appearance.
But here
we usually miss out on the biggest factor which is nutrition. Whatever we eat appears
on our skin and overall physical appearance. So today we will have a look that
what foods we can inculcate in our daily routine that can make us look young
and can help delay ageing.
1. Green tea
I have
already written a lot about the wonders green tea can do in your life as it has
a lot of antioxidants. Green tea contains polyphenols that save your skin from
harmful radicals so that your skin cells don’t get damaged. They also encourage
the growth of those specific skin cells that protect your skin against sunlight
and UV radiation. Polyphenols also increase the formation of collagen and
everybody knows how important collagen is to make our skin look beautiful
and young.
2. Dark Chocolate
A bar of dark chocolate that has 75% or more cocoa content helps you a lot in getting a youthful
look. It also has polyphenols in addition to flavonoids. Flavonoids improve blood circulation and are excellent sunlight-protective agents.
3. Spices
They not
only add flavour to your daily dishes but also give a youthful glow to your skin.
Among some of the very important spices, Cinnamon holds the no. 1 position because
it also improves collagen production and again its importance is well known.
Garlic
is the next wonder food that is a natural antibiotic. It flushes out toxins
from the body which reduces acne and prevents skin dullness. Garlic improves blood
circulation and reduces the level of bad cholesterol.

spice that I want to add here is Turmeric which is a natural healer, that reduces
inflammation and also reduces acne. It delays skin ageing and reduces bad
cholesterol levels. It also plays a level in reducing stress levels.

All citrus foods are loaded with vitamin c which can really do wonders on your skin as it helps in the formation of collagen. Citrus fruits also contain folic acid which improves the blood supply towards the skin.

called skin-protective foods. Lycopene in tomatoes protects the skin against sunlight
radiations, and harmful radicals and is the best solution for your dry skin because it’s
a very good hydrater and moisturizer.
Its
effectiveness increases if it is used with olive oil.
6. Vegetables
Vegetables
contain a lot of antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E. These vitamins are
really important vitamin A prevents skin dryness which will also prevent
wrinkles and delay wrinkles. Vit E protects your skin.

specifically, is really amazing for the protection of your skin and prevents
pre-mature ageing by converting its beta carotene into Vitamin A inside our
body.

turn will reduce acne and give our skin a beautiful glow. It also improves
collagen synthesis and also contains antioxidants.
